Marissa Erinson

Marissa thinks that she's ambitious. Turns out, she's actually just idealistic. Idealistic and naïve, apparently. She moves almost halfway across the country thinking that she will convince the local university to let her in - a woman with little to recommend her beyond a generally pleasant demeanor. Before she can even begin to engage with the school, though, the company she keeps starts to drag her down into a world of Prohibition Era intrigue and danger, and she proves ill-equipped to navigate the complexity of the politics and peril in 1920s St. Louis.
